Mirror, hang on the wall
never miss his reflection
as he pass the corridors gleeful
boisterous and wicked on brats, us

his students, knocking off whatever
skirmish we had, taming us like
lambs into wilderness of his wit
making our childhood so much memorable.

Post for dVerse written in memory of our late science grade school teacher, Sir Abella. He never missed to allure us even on difficult situations thru his wits and vivacious approach on teaching us. Surely, we will not forget what fun you had shared with us Sir. Rest in peace.

  1. Some teachers just bring the razzle-dazzle, don’t they? So thankful for those who bring that little “extra” to the table with my own kids, now. I am so sorry for your loss.

  2. A beautiful way to use the prompt. Teachers can be the spark that ignites a child’s curiousity, confidence and ultimately their pathways of life. Sorry for your loss.
